Kampung selayun: Over one hundred people have embraced Islam from January to May this year. A Chinese man recited the Islamic Oath in Kampung Selayun, Sengkurong, on the afternoon of 5th June. The 26-year-old, formerly known as Koh Pee Lie, is now known as Muhammad Khairi Pee Lie bin Abdullah Koh.

According to Radio Television Brunei, this significant event is part of a larger trend in the area where many individuals have been converting to Islam in recent months. The ceremony, held in Kampung Selayun, was a momentous occasion, highlighting the growing number of conversions in the community.
