Control Measures Extended Until 3 October 2021

 

The Minister of Health also explained that due to the current COVID-19 situation which is still unstable, control measures have been extended until the 3rd of October 2021.

 

Yang Berhormat announced that with the consent of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and taking into account the current situation in Brunei Darussalam and the postponement of administration of the first dose vaccine in the National Vaccination Programme, the control measures that have been reinforced and informed during the Ministry of Health’s media conference on the 21st of August 2021 which is supposed to end on the 4th of September 2021 is further extended until Sunday, 3rd of October 2021. This is to enable the implemented control measures to have a positive impact on reducing the spread of the infection. The Minister of Health in addition urged for all of us to practice zikir, prayers and other practices to seek for Allah Subhanahu Wa Taa’ala’s forgiveness, guidance and blessings so that Brunei Darussalam remains protected from the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak.
