Contribution Presentation Ceremony

The Dana Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah for Orphans, DANA received a sum of $78,466 from donors. Support and donations from philanthropists in together assist DANA in the efforts to improve the well-being of orphans in the country is highly appreciated. Yesterday morning, the contribution presentation ceremony took place at Dewan An-Naura, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex in the capital.

The contributions were received by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Second Minister of Defence as Chairman of the DANA Board of Trustees. Fu Zhou Shiyyi (Brunei) Association contributed $63,716, while the Group of Wives of Cabinet Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Permanent Secretaries and Deputy Permanent Secretary as well as affiliated members donated $11,950. A sum of $1,300 was contributed from Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah College, a 5 percent proceeds from the ‘Virtual MD Fun Walk 2021′. Meanwhile, Syarikat Petrofes Sendirian Berhad and Brunei Students’ Union Wellbeing United Kingdom contributed $1,000 and $500 respectively.
