Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF and the other Brunei Darussalam’s law enforcement graduates of the Command and Staff Course, CSC 06/2016 were encouraged to apply the knowledge that they gained from their course, the mental fortitude that they have developed and the links that they have established to elevate their responsibilities and contributions in their respective duties. Their effort will ensure a long way on the path of ensuring the integrity of the sovereignty and the strength of the national resilience. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Defence, Retired First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Haji Tamit yesterday at the Graduation Ceremony of the 6th RBAF CSC. The function took place at the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Defence Academy, in Tanah Jambu.
14 officers from the RBAF and 1 Officer from the Royal Brunei Police Force as well as 12 International participants from the Bangladesh, The People’s Republic of China, India, Republic of Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Sultanate of Oman, The Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Republic of Singapore, Thailand and the United States of America received their certificate of participation and badge.
Those who excelled in a number of course aspects also received their awards. The Massey University Award for academic excellence was given to Major Richard Wilson from the United States Army. Meanwhile, Major Omree bin Dato Hasbullah from the Royal Malaysia Air Force received the RBAF CSC Commendation. The RBAF CSC Overall Excellence award was presented to Major Tang Chong Kiat from the Singapore Air Force. The 40-weeks course aimed to educate, train and develop the students to meet the demands of mid-level officers in their future appointments in the armed forces, defence establishments and government departments. Also present was Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohammad Tawih bin Abdullah, Commander of the RBAF.
