Responding to a query on the function and role of the Civil Service Institute, IPA by Yang Berhormat Haji Awang Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, the Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence explained that the IPA has aligned its learning programmes with the country’s needs as a Smart Nation by collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
The IPA is using elements from the Digital Economy Masterplan 2025 in its learning programme to increase digital literacy among Civil Service employees. Sharing at the regional level or on the ASEAN platform is also used in planning innovation and ICT programmes initiative based on the ASEAN Public Service Training Institute, PSTI Network Future Skills set. The Civil Service Institute also empowers its training workforce in professional ICT skills to be used in ICT training programmes.
