Valenzuela Resident Wins P5.9 Million Lotto Jackpot

Manila – A lone bettor from Valenzuela City, Metro Manila, has hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s (PCSO) Lotto 6/42 draw on Tuesday. The winning combination that led to the PHP5.9-million prize was 01-12-21-28-08-18.

According to Philippines News Agency, The PCSO announced on Wednesday that the winning ticket was purchased in Marulas, Valenzuela City. The lucky winner can claim their prize at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City, presenting the winning ticket and two identification cards. They have one year from the draw date to claim the jackpot. Lottery winnings above PHP10,000 are subject to a 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law. Additionally, 93 other bettors won PHP24,000 each for matching five out of the six winning numbers, while 3,063 bettors will receive PHP800 each for four correct digits, and 31,699 will get PHP20 each for three correct digits. The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. PCSO encourages the public to participate in their games, as a significant portion of the revenue supports government charity programs.
