Post: Cavite Police Arrest 10 in Anti-Outlaw Campaign

CAVITE, Philippines — In a significant crackdown on crime, Cavite police operatives detained 10 individuals across the province on Friday, all of whom were wanted for a variety of serious offenses.

According to Philippines News Agency, director of the Cavite Provincial Police Office (CPPO), the arrests targeted suspects with outstanding warrants for crimes including rape, statutory rape, murder, homicide, and drug trafficking. The operations were conducted simultaneously throughout different locations in Cavite. One notable arrest in Tanza town involved a suspect known only as 'Egay,' wanted for murder. The arrest escalated when Egay allegedly resisted, resulting in additional charges of assault upon a person in authority.

Further arrests included two sex offenders, 'Odel' and 'Cinco,' apprehended in Aguinaldo and Naic towns respectively. In Bacoor City, two individuals named 'Kenneth' and 'Mika' were arrested on multiple counts, including attempted homicide, malicious mischief, unjust vexation, and drug trafficking.

Ricardo emphasized the ongoing efforts of the Cavite police to apprehend individuals evading the law, highlighting the role of community cooperation in these successful operations. He expressed commitment to continuing these efforts to ensure justice for victims of these crimes.
