Cagayan Resident Wins PHP 16.8 Million in Mega Lotto Jackpot

CAGAYAN – A lucky bettor from Cagayan province struck gold, winning a Mega Lotto jackpot of PHP 16,881,251.80 in Friday night’s draw.

According to Philippines News Agency, the winning ticket was purchased in Tuao town, with the numbers 26-05-36-21-29-45. The winner has a one-year window from the draw date to claim the substantial prize at the PCSO office located in Mandaluyong City. Under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law, the winnings, exceeding PHP 10,000, will be subjected to a 20 percent tax.

Additionally, the PCSO announced that 13 other bettors won PHP 32,000 each for matching five of the six winning numbers. A further 831 players will receive PHP 1,000 each for guessing four correct digits, and 16,522 participants will collect PHP 30 each for three correct digits. The 6/45 Mega Lotto holds its draws every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, continuing to offer substantial prizes to participants.
