Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam - The Brunei Sustainable Economy Forum 2023, focusing on shaping the nation's sustainable future, was held in the capital on the afternoon of 23rd November. The event was organized by the ASEAN and APEC Business Advisory Councils of Brunei in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the forum, attended by Dayang Nik Hafimi binti Nik Abdul Haadii, Chairman of the APEC Business Advisory Council Brunei, and Dayang Haslina binti Haji Mohd Taib, Chairman of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council Brunei, was themed 'Sustainable Goals: Balancing Growth and Climate Commitments'. It aimed to underscore Brunei Darussalam's commitments to sustainability and explore the role of business in achieving these national goals. The forum provided a platform for businesses and stakeholders to discuss the challenges and opportunities of balancing business growth with climate-friendly practices.
