Brunei Darussalam Suffers Heavy Defeat Against Yemen in Asian Cup Qualifiers

Kuwait city: The Brunei Darussalam national squad faced a tough challenge in their Group ‘B’ match qualifiers for the 2027 Asian Cup, suffering a 9-nil defeat to Yemen at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the national squad struggled to gain a foothold in the match, which took place early morning on 15th October. Despite their efforts, the team was unable to prevent Yemen from securing a dominant victory. The Brunei Darussalam team is set to continue their qualification campaign against Lebanon at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas on 18th October.
