Brunei Crown Prince Embarks on Official Visit to Kuala Lumpur
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN — His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office of Brunei, along with Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, departed for an official visit to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this morning, August 17, 2024.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the departure was marked by a Doa Selamat ceremony, led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar. Dignitaries including His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik, high-ranking officials from the government, and military leaders were present at His Majesty the Sultan’s Flight Hangar in Rimba to bid them farewell. The visit, scheduled from August 17 to 21, aims to strengthen diplomatic ties and discuss bilateral cooperation between Brunei and Malaysia.
