Brunei Celebrates Sultan’s Birthday with Rich Cultural Performances

Bandar Seri Begawan – The birthday celebration of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 78th year was marked by vibrant cultural displays across multiple districts.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Gema tausyeh performance took center stage in the capital at the Festive Stage in front of the Royal Regalia Museum. Six groups from the Dhafwatul ‘Aisy Group performed, introducing tausyeh to the general public and enriching the evening’s festivities. Concurrently, Belait District hosted a religious forum while the Festive Stage in Tutong District engaged young minds with a Poster Coloring and Drawing Competition themed on Sustainable Development Goals. In Temburong District, the religious forum titled ‘Memelihara Akal, Masyarakat Sejahtera’ was held, organized by the Temburong District Da’wah Unit.
