Brunei Celebrates National Day with Launching of Small Sized Flags for Vehicles

GADONG — In a move to instill love and patriotism towards the country among the public, a special event for the launching of Small Sized Brunei Darussalam Flags for vehicles, motorcycles, and bicycles was held in conjunction with the 40th National Day. The ceremony took place on the morning of February 18th, at a hotel compound in Gadong.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Permanent Secretary for Sports at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, who officiated the event, the initiative saw participation from 300 vehicles, motorcycles, and bicycles, which embarked on a 7-kilometer route carrying the small-sized flags. This initiative reflects a nationwide effort to celebrate the 40th National Day with a display of national symbols, promoting a sense of belonging and patriotism among the citizens.
