Bandar Seri Begawan: The country’s Veteran Team kicked off the Borneo City Cup tournament with a win against the Kota Kinabalu Team. In an engaging match held at the Batu Bersurat Court, Gadong, Brunei Darussalam emerged victorious in the Men’s Veteran category, securing a 58-52 win over Kota Kinabalu.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the tournament also witnessed competition in the Men’s Open Category, where Brunei Darussalam faced a setback. The team was defeated by Miri, with a final score of 85-67, marking a challenging start for the Men’s Open team in the tournament.
