The Brunei History Association, PESEBAR in collaboration with the Brunei History Centre launched the 'Kesultanan Brunei dari Pelbagai Perspektif' Book and inaugurated the Brunei History Association General Meeting on 11th August afternoon. The events held at the Brunei History Centre aimed to instil love towards local history and raise the spirit of patriotism within the younger generation.
It was launched by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The book was a special publication as PESEBAR's contribution in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 77th birthday celebration. Sponsored by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, the book contains 18 academic writings produced by local and overseas writers including youths.
Meanwhile, the Brunei History Association General Meeting included the appointment of a temporary chairman and the selection of a new executive committee members for 2024 to 2026. In attendance, Doctor Haji Muhammad Hadi bin Muhammad Melayong, Head of the Brunei History Centre, and Awang Haji Mohd Rozan bin Dato Paduka Hj Mohd Yunos, Acting President of PESEBAR.
