The Blood Bank Reserve increased yesterday when 34 donors took part in a Blood Donation Campaign in the Belait District. The campaign is considered timely as the country’s Blood Reserve is experiencing shortages since the spread of COVID-19.

 

The campaign held at the Youth Centre in Kuala Belait is organised by the Belait District Youth Volunteers in collaboration with the Blood Donation Centre, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital, supported by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. Social distancing is carried out in accordance to the Standard Operating Procedures, SOP’s and guidelines stipulated by the Ministry of Health.

 

The campaign is held for two days until this Wednesday, 24th June, starts from 9 in the morning until 12 noon.
