Various events were held last night to enliven the Festive Stage in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 75th Birthday Celebration.
At the Temburong District festive stage, the district’s Radio Television Brunei Station, held the Bintang Keputeraan Competition. Present were a Member of The Legislative Council and Acting Commanding Officer of Temburong Police District. Awang Matthew Elwes Janlita and Dayang Afina Munirah binti Razali won the Bintang Keputeraan competition respectively.
Meanwhile at the Tudung Saji Festive Stage, Kuala Belait, a Dikir Syarafil Anam Competition was held organised by the Belait District Mosque Affairs Department, the Muhammad Jamalul Alam Mosque Takmir Committee, Kuala Belait and the Kampung Pandan ‘B’ Consultative Council. The Jauharatul Qosri group emerged champion of the competition.
