The Language and Literature Bureau through the Language Construction and Development Division organised a Bandarku Ceria activity in conjunction with the school; term holiday. The activity was held on 25th December morning, at the Language and Literature Bureau Building in the capital.
The activities held included Filling Water in Bottles, Table Tennis Ball Challenge, Putik Bahasa, Jawi Crossword, Spontaneous Quiz and Translation. According to the Head of Language Construction and Development, the activity aimed to further enliven the Bandarku Ceria Programme aside from acting as a platform to promote the Malay Language to the public. Dayang Hajah Sariani Binti Haji Ishak added that they are using a customer friendly approach, in which they are exposed to an easier use of the Malay language with the aim that they will easily understand the correct and proper use of the Malay Language.
