The ASEAN-Republic of Korea, ROK, Technical and Vocational Education Training, TVET Mobility Programme, reducing the job competency gap, as well as to strengthening the core areas of ASEAN's common TVET programmes. The matter was shared during the Welcoming Ceremony of the first batch of ASEAN ROK TVET Mobility Programme. The event hosted by Micronet International College took place at a hotel in the capital.
Pengiran Hajah Hamidah binti Pengiran Haji Hidup, Acting Chief Executive Officer Institute of Brunei Technical Eductaion, IBTE in her speech also shared that TVET had been recognized as a cornerstone for the economic development of any nation as it provides a country with qualified manpower.
19 participants from five ASEAN member nations joined the programme. The programme will be held for 3 months from 10th July until 30th September. The TVET Mobility Programme facilitates exchanges of students and teachers among TVET institutions in ASEAN. The curriculum incorporates up-to-date knowledge and future skills of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
