Antique Launches ‘Quadro Serbisyo’ Program to Benefit 300 Indigents in Sibalom

SIBALOM, Antique — Three hundred indigent residents of Sibalom, Antique, were the first to benefit from the provincial government’s newly launched ‘Quadro Serbisyo’ program, receiving free medical and dental services. The initiative, aimed at empowering local communities, was inaugurated on Friday at the Antique gymnasium in Barangay Villar, Sibalom town.

According to Philippines News Agency, ‘Quadro Serbisyo’ represents the government’s commitment to reaching out to barangays to deliver essential services and engage with residents on projects and assistance they require. The program is set to be conducted monthly, facilitating direct government support and consultations for barangay development.

The program’s launch follows the adoption of Board Resolution No. 081-2024, which established an inter-agency approach for delivering a broad range of services. These services are categorized into four main components: medical and dental missions, traffic safety and disaster management and prevention forums, consultation and planning assistance for barangay development, and inter-agency coordination and project monitoring.

Healthcare professionals from the Integrated Provincial Health Office and the Philippine Dental Association Antique Chapter provided the medical and dental services. Beneficiaries of the program expressed their gratitude, highlighting the convenience and financial savings of receiving free medical and dental care close to home, eliminating the need to travel five kilometers and bear transportation costs.
