The ASEAN Business Advisory Council ASEAN-BAC recommended various initiatives including digital transformation, sustainable development, health resilience, food security, cross border trade and investment facilitation, talent mobility, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, M-S-M-E development, connectivity. The recommendation was delivered during the AEM-ASEAN BAC Consultation with Representatives of the ASEAN-BAC at the 55th ASEAN Economic Ministers' (AEM) Meeting in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia, recently.
The country's delegation was represented by the Managing Director of Adinin Group of Companies and General Manager of PDS Abattoir. During the session, the ASEAN BAC Brunei shared on the importance of Digital Trust in ASEAN Economy to address the challenges faced by MSME. The ASEAN B-A-C delegation also attended the launching of 'ASEAN Tariff Finder'. Earlier, the delegation held the 98th ASEAN BAC meeting and the 22nd Joint Business Council, JBC meeting. Among discussed was the preparation for the involvement of AEM and ASEAN BAC progress report.
