The Minister of Home Affairs also stated that since the ‘Operasi Pulih’ was carried out, 85 employees were found to have committed offences.
The offences involved 67 companies. To date, 47 employers have been contacted, involving 55 employees. Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Abu Bakar added that during the transition period, inspections will be carried out by the enforcement agencies to ensure that they comply with the Standard Operating Procedures.
