Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam have had a long-standing and special relationship, and will continue to develop strong bilateral relations. This was stated by His Excellency Dato’ Raja Reza bin Raja Zaib Shah, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam at a reception in conjunction with the 65th National Day of Malaysia and Malaysia Day 2022.
Representing the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health. In his speech, the High Commissioner of Malaysia also shared that both countries continue to enjoy cooperation in various sectors such as trade, defence, education, culture and health. The event took place last night in Gadong.
