50 events and activities are organised throughout the month of December this year in conjunction with the “Brunei December Festival 2021”. 42 of them will be held virtually and the rest will be held physically for a month starting from the 1st to 31st of December. However, taking into account the current COVID-19 situation, several measures have been taken by the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism in preventing the spread of COVID-19 during the Brunei December Festival.
Dayang Noor Rohaya Binti Arun, Head of Marketing and Promotion Division said several physical events are permitted but have to comply with COVID-19 transition phase guidelines, SOPs and any other guidelines set by the Ministry of Health from time to time. This is to prevent any transmission of COVID-19 in the country.
