The 'Rehlah Ilmiah dan Pejuang Fajar' Programme aimed to educate the youth so that they actively perform religious deeds apart from instilling the feeling of love towards the mosque. The programme held early yesterday morning in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration, took place at Lambak Mosque. It was organised by the Youth Daie Volunteers of the Youth Religious Programme, Ministry of Religious Affairs with the cooperation of various parties including the Islamic Da'wah Centre, Mosque Affairs Department, and the As-Syahadah Youth Converts.
In attendance was Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. During the programme, participants performed the Mass Fardu Subuh prayer and listened to a Tazkirah or short talk delivered by Awang Muhammad Yussof bin Haji Abdul Majid, Second Grade Special Duties Officer at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The function coincided with the presentation of endowment by the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs to Awang Haji Mahrof bin Haji Chuchu, the mosque's Imam or prayer leader.
This was followed by a cleaning campaign at the mosque's compound. Also present was Awang Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
