The Singapore Brunei Youth Leadership Exchange Programme, SBYLEP not only hones the leadership of youths in facing the challenges of the 4th Industrial Revolution but also provides opportunities for the youths of both countries to share experiences. The programme organised by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and participated by 30 youths, continued on 5th October with a visit to the Temburong District.

Upon arrival at the Temburong District Office, the delegation was welcomed by Awang Mohammad Khairul Shahrul bin Haji Duahim, Acting Temburong District Officer. During the visit, the delegation was also briefed on the development and progress in the district. Also present was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Emran bin Haji Sabtu, member of the Legislative Council.

'Outward Bound Brunei Darussalam' in Batang Duri, Ulu Temburong Park and the National Service Programme in Kampung Batu Apoi were among the destinations of the visit. The programme aimed to expose the youths at the international level by establishing understanding from the social aspects of the two countries, apart from giving opportunities to exchange ideas as well as learning about their respective traditions.
