The 'Brunei Peduli Palestin' is a youth religious programme organised under the Ministry of Religious Affairs with the cooperation of 'Belia Muallaf As-Syahadah' of the Islamic Da'wah Centre and ' Kumpulan Belia Syababul Iman' of the Sultan Sharif Ali Mosque. The programme will take place this Saturday, the 1st of June.

The programme will be held at Times Square, Berakas. The programme is open to the public from 10 in the morning to 9.30 in the evening. The 'Brunei Peduli Palestin' is a side activity of the Dignity is Priceless Campaign, a collaboration project between the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, UNRWA throughout the month of Ramadhan.

The programme aims to raise funds to enable UNRWA assist registered Palestinian refugees who are scattered across Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, and the West Bank including East Jerusalem. Apart from that, the programme also aims to raise awareness on humanitarian issues in Palestine. Various activities will be held including the 'Palestine Tunnel', an interactive exhibition complete with sound effects and images that portrays the situation in Gaza. It is hoped that the programme can act as a starting point to increase efforts in lessening the plight of those who are affected.
