Thirteen families who are listed for receiving the Monthly Welfare Assistance, orphans, senior citizens and special needs individuals at the Department of Community Development, JAPEM received donations in the form of basic necessities during the 'Kembara Amal Ramadan' programme for the Brunei Muara district. The programme is the outreach initiative of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports that is carried out at all districts. The donations are presented to those in need with the aim to lessen their plight and bring cheer to them for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

The delegation was led by Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports who visited two senior citizens in Kampung Serasa and Kampung Lugu.

Meanwhile, a delegation led by Datin Paduka Doctor Hajah Norlila binti Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports visited three residences in Kampung Putat , Kampung Junjongan and Kampung Mulaut.

Dayang Saidah binti Haji Wahid, Deputy Permanent Secretary at Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports led another delegation to three houses in Kampung Jerudong, Kampung Perpindahan Lambak Kanan and Kampung Pulaie.

Whereas a delegation led by Doctor Dayang Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports visited two houses in Kampung Pengkalan Sibabau and Kampung Panchor Mengkubau. The programme was among the ministry's religious activities throughout the holy month of Ramadhan.
