One thousand female youths took part in a similar ceremony that took place at the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque.

In attendance were Datin Seri Paduka Doctor Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, Deputy Minister of Education and Datin Paduka Doctor Hajah Norlila binti Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The ceremony commenced with the mass reading of Surah Al- Fatihah, followed by the reading of Al-Quran verses from Surah Ad Dhuha until Surah Al-Massad.

The Seri Begawan Religious Teachers' University College, KUPU SB Dikir Group then read the takhtim, while the Doa khatam was recited by Dayang Asiah binti Haji Ibrahim, a student from the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Tahfiz Al-Quran Institute.

This was followed by the Dikir Marhaban and reading of Doa Allah Peliharakan Sultan and Negara Brunei Darussalam.

The gathering aimed to improve the youth's understanding on the importance of reading the Quran and make it as a guide in life.
