The Brunei Darussalam Girl Guides Association continues its "Serving the Earth Project". The large scale event has been carried out by the association's members at all levels since it was launched in 2009. After 10 years, the project has successfully taught the members the culture of serving the Earth or working on the land and protecting the environment. The 10 years of the project was celebrated at the Girl Guides Association Headquarters in Kampung Anggerek Desa in Berakas yesterday afternoon.
In attendance was Pengiran Kamarulzaman bin Pengiran Haji Mohd Ishak, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. The project is filled with tree, fruit, flower and herb planting activities using both traditional and organic methods.
