Towards providing participants with the knowledge and fundamental skills necessary to perform assigned jobs in Food and Beverage, Front Office and Housekeeping, the Tourism Development Department, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism together with the Brunei Association of Hotels in collaboration with V-Plaza Hotel and Wafa Hotel are holding a hospitality training programme for hotel employees in the country.

The programme was launched by Awang Wardi bin Haji Mohammad Ali, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. During the training, the participants are provided with information and guidance regarding hotel services conducted by Tengku Taufiq, General Manager of V-Plaza Hotel. The training's objective is to improve hotel services in Brunei Darussalam and to provide participants with basic understanding and functions of every department in the hotel industry. Also present were Datin Hajah Dayang Norayati binti Pehin Orang Kaya Shahbandar Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Mohd Nawawi, Managing Director of Wafa Hotel and Mohd Iswandi bin Maaruf, President of Brunei Darussalam Association of Hotels.
