People who pray properly and sincerely will reap rewards from Allah the Almighty in the form of blessings, enlightenment, stronger faith, calmness and paradise because praying can prevent a person from doing malicious and sinful acts. Hence, pray properly and sincerely, focusing the heart to none other than Allah the Most Sublime because doing so is the sign of success in this world and the Hereafter. The matter was highlighted in a talk in conjunction with the Isra’ Mi’raj celebration organised by the Ministry of Health yesterday afternoon.
The event was attended by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, the Minister of Health. The talk which focused on the theme of this year’s Isra’ Mi’raj celebration, “prayer Shapes A Pious Ummah,” was delivered by Mohammad Khaizuran Amali bin Haji Kamsani, Certified Daie of the Brunei Islamic Religious Council, and invited speaker from Al-Manhaaj Centre. He also touched on the importance of solat or the daily prayer because it is the link between the people and God which reminds a Muslim of Allah the Almighty and glorify the Mighty Creator. This year’s event was jointly conducted by the Scientific Service Department and the Renal Service Department of the Ministry of Health.
The celebration coincided with the Khatam Al-Quran in conjunction with the 35th National Day of Brunei Daurssalam which began with the reading of Surah Al-Fatihah led by the Minister of Health. The activity was to encourage officers and staff of the Ministry of Health to glorify the Isra’ Mi’raj celebration with Quran reading to gain blessings and rewards from Allah the Almighty.
