Prayer provides multiple benefits to the Muslim ummah, among them is shaping patience and resilience that enable a person to face any difficulty. This was among the matters touched in the Ulum Ad-Din Talk in conjunction with the Isra' Mi'raj celebration which took place yesterday afternoon at Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD.

Present was Datin Doctor Dayang Hajah Anita Binurul Zahrina binti Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Wijaya Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Aziz, the Vice Chancellor of UBD. The religious talk titled, "Sembahyang Meningkatkan Prestasi Kerja dan Akademik" or 'Prayer Improves Academic and Work Performance' was delivered by Doctor Andas Haji Ismuhadi bin Haji Abdullah, Speaker from the Islamic Da'wah Centre. According to Doctor Andas Haji Ismuhadi, the muslim ummah needs to obey the commands of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala by carrying out their obligations His servants with sincerity in order to gain blessings in this world and the hereafter. The Ulum Ad-Din Talk which was co-organised by the UBD Religious committee, UBD Student Affairs Section and UBD Undergraduates Association, among other things aimed to commemorate and internalise the benefits learnt from the Isra' Mi'raj of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam.
