The School of Science and Engineering, Polytechnic Brunei, Lumut Campus will take part in the Shell Eco-Marathon Asia 2019. The competition will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from the 27th of April until the 3rd of May.

The Polytechnic Brunei Yakin three and Pengambara One along with new team members from Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering has designed the world’s most energy efficient vehicles. The vehicles aimed at reducing the consumption of electric batteries, with fuel efficiency and optimizing its performance will compete at the Shell Eco-Marathon Asia in two categories; prototype and urban concept. This morning saw the launch of the two types of vehicles. Present was Awang Alias bin Haji Abu Bakar, Acting Director of Polytechnic Brunei. This year Polytechnic Brunei reached another milestone after being accepted to participate in the urban concept Category which contrary to the Prototype category which looks like an experimental vehicle, the urban concept has a monospace contemporary look.
