His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday morning left Hanoi, the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam after concluding a three-day State Visit. Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen.
Prior to departure from the hotel, Doa Selamat was recited by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr.) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti.
Present at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi to bid farewell to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam were His Excellency Dao Viet Trung, Chairman of Presidential Office as the Minister-in-Attendance; His Excellency Pham Sao Mai, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs; and His Excellency Do Anh Tuan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to Brunei Darussalam. Prior to boarding the special aircraft, His Majesty walked past a Static Guard of Honour mounted by members of the People's Army of Viet Nam. His Majesty was then presented with a bouquet of flowers. Also present to bid farewell to His Majesty were His Excellency Pengiran Haji Sahari bin Pengiran Haji Salleh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam as well as officers from the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
