Brunei Darussalam will never allow the existing generations to steer away from religion but will continue to be consistent in instilling Islamic values in their life. His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, emphasises the matter in the Titah during the Passing Out Parade of the 8th Intake of the National Service Programme, PKBN at the PKBN Training Camp in Kampung Batu Apoi, Temburong District. The ceremony took place yesterday morning. The Monarch says, the country places great importance on strong syashiah or personality adorned with patriotism because a weak personality is akin to a soulless body which cannot contribute anything to the country. Hence His Majesty wishes the youth to be determined to serve the country instead of being a burden to the nation and community. Continuing the titah, His Majesty highlights that there is little hope of seeing religious education as the main choice in the era of globalisation. Therefore, adds His Majesty, do not be surprised if today's world lacks a strongly religious generation. Instead, a generation weak in religion is very common.
