In conjunction with Global Money Week 2019, the Curriculum Development Department, Ministry of Education with the cooperation of Authority Monetary Brunei Darussalam, AMBD, Employees Trust Fund, TAP and Financial Planning Association Brunei Darussalam, FPAB, yesterday morning, held a Financial Literacy Awareness Workshop at Perdana Wazir Secondary School.
The workshop included a briefing delivered by Dayang Sri Anazrina binti Haji Johari, Head of the Retirement Planning Service Unit, which stressed on the importance of differentiating between needs and wants as well as the goodness of saving at financial institutions. The workshop aimed to teach students on ways of saving after gaining employment such as owning homes, cars, holidays, retirement and others. 50 students from Perdana Wazir Secondary School, Sayyidina Ali Secondary School and Pengiran Jaya Negara Haji Abu Bakar Secondary School attended the workshop.
