The Darussalam Enterprise, DARe plays a role in preparing and managing industrial areas in the country in fulfilling the business growth and the country’s economy. Hence, a joint stakeholder engagement is organised between the syarikat Brunei Methanol Sdn Bhd (BMC), Brunei Fertilizer Industries Sdn Bhd (BFI) and Advanced Hydrogen Energy Chain Association for Technology Development (AHEAD) with residents who live at the Sungai Liang Industrial Park, SPARK surrounding areas.
The session shared information updates and the development on construction works done by the SPARK. Apart from that, the companies were also upgrading and building new facilities which will generate major economic spin-offs through downstream oil and gas activities. The engagement session involved the companies’ representatives. The three companies explained that the upgrading works on the company’s upcoming projects such as the offshore maintenance at BMC single buoy mooring facility and construction of Brunei’s first fertiliser plant had begun in August 2018.
