In the efforts to provide exposure to the new generation towards knowing the country aside from further strengthening the relations with the local residents, the Mukim Sengkurong Volunteers, SUMUS, made a courtesy visit to the Mukim Melilas and Mukim Sukang in Belait.

During the visit, the volunteers contributed aid in the form of basic necessities to residents who live at the Melilas longhouse. The donation was handed over by Awang Haji Musa bin Haji Tahir, the Penghulu of Mukim Sengkurong.

The delegation also visited to Datu Seri Maharaja Setia Dian Sukang School and donated school stationery to the pupils. They also visited the Sukang longhouse. SUMUS was established as a platform towards elevating voluntarism among the community in the country, so that they would become educated and cultured and always help the needy.
