In the afternoon, the Legislative Council delegation visited JobCentre Brunei in Jalan Perindustrian, Kampung Beribi; as well Darussalam Enterprise and i-Centre in Kampung Anggerek Desa.

The centre is a place for job seekers to gain information on any job vacancies in the private sector. It also plays a role in reducing the unemployment rate in the country and dependence of employers on foreign workers and instead provide employment opportunities to locals.

Also included in the visit agenda was, Darussalam Enterprise, DARe, at the Design and Technology Building in Kampung Anggerek Desa. DARe provides a platform to develop Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, MSME's, which brings about dynamic and sustainable growth in the country.

The delegation then visited the i-Center, which is also located in the same building. The i-Centre is the first technology incubator as part of the Brunei Economic Development Board's initiative to develop and promote local small and medium entrepreneurs. It also acts as a centre to educate and expand the success of businesses in the field of Info-Communication Technology, ICT.
