The Royal Brunei Police Force have apprehended 3 local suspects who are involved in mosque fund and metal theft cases. All suspects were detained at the Sengkurong Police Station for further investigation, and have been brought to the Bandar Seri Begawan Intermediate Court for a hearing and sentencing, 5th January.

The first suspect, 23 year-old Mohammad Akmal Arif bin Mohammad Alinor was sentenced to imprisonment for 21 months and 2 strokes of the cane for two charges involving theft at Kampung Katimahar Mosque, and metal drain cover theft at the Kampung Katimahar Industrial Site.

The second suspect, Mohammad Adi Rahmatin Hafiz bin Moryadi, aged 23, was sentenced to 16 months imprisonment and 2 strokes of the cane for stealing at Kampung Katimahar Mosque.

Meanwhile, the third suspect, 20-year old Muhammad Haziq bin Jasni, was sentenced to 2 months imprisonment for stealing metal drain covers at the Kampung Katimahar Industrial Site.
