The Rimba Arabic School's new building at the Kampung Rimba National Housing starts operational today. One thousands four hundreds boys students from year 6 to year 11 whose studied at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Girls Secondary Arabic Religious School started the first term school session for 2019 at the new school.
RTB review to the school found that teachers, students and school communities are busy with the activities and the management of learning needed as well as the learning of the students. The Arabic and religious school are parts from the National Education System for the 21st Century, SPN 21.
The school's construction are hoped to become the milestone of the development Arabic school in the country with the Malay Islamic Monarchy concept. Islamic pattern and traditional Malay patterns are integrated into the art and design of the building of a modern bruneian by highlighting elements of the Malay Islamic Monarchy traditions.
The construction of the school is among the government main project under the 10th National Development Plan organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs with cost more than 48 million dollar on the area of 20 hectare. It is built with the complete infrastructure to fulfil the learning and studying need including 91 classrooms, auditorium, science laboratory, computer, language, prayer room, studio mini, multi-purpose hall, cafeteria, sports facilities, library and hostel. The registration of year 5 students will be held on 12th of January.
