Continuous efforts in combating threats towards cyber security was among the main focus in the Cyber Security Forum. The one day forum organised by the Royal Brunei Technical Services, aimed to create corporate awareness on Cyber security and to ensure businesses are equipped with sufficient knowledge being safer online.

Among those attending the forum was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Defence as Chairman of National Safety Committee. Among the topics that were discussed included risk and strategy, the need for a secure communication network and the importance of training. The forum also shares views and collectively works together to develop a cyber-security framework that can work in the country. Providing understanding on issues of cyber security and creating an environment for discussions on addressing cyber threats was among the issues given attention.
