The Brunei Salebration 2018 will be back starting this December with more than 400 businesses from all over the country. The event aims to support the government’s initiative in promoting sustainable economic growth through higher domestic consumer spending and to improve the retail sub-sector performance in the country.
The Department of Economic Planning and Development, JPKE at the Ministry of Finance and Economy in a media statement said that it is extending the sales notification deadline until the 27th of November 2018 to give room for more businesses to partake in this national effort in spurring consumption and local business growth. Brunei Salebration 2018 will begin on the 1st of December 2018 until 13th of February of 2019 for 75 days. In this regard, JPKE is calling for more support among the business community to promote Brunei Darussalam as a vibrant shopping destination by offering competitive pricing and a wide range of products to attract locals and tourists to shop and spend in the country. Participating stores will also be offered an added platform to reach out and gain visibility through JPKE’s SmartConsumer mobile application to advertise their offers to generate increased sales. The SmartConsumer application can be downloaded free on Apple App Store and Google Playstore.
Businesses that wish to submit their Brunei Salebration 2018 notification form can submit the form to the Competition and Consumer Affairs Department together with their price list. Any business inquiries related to sales activities, consumer concerns or feedback can to be directed to JPKE through the SmartConsumer mobile application, OR email to ‘firstname.lastname@example.org’ OR call 2230223 during office hours.
