3rd BIMP-EAGA Budayaw Festival of Culture and Arts

Digital transformation has united the people today, bringing us closer to each other by bridging the cultural bonds with technology in a borderless world. Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports was speaking while officiating the 3rd Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area, BIMP-EAGA, Budayaw Festival of Culture and Arts. Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin said that shifting the strategies and initiatives by tapping into wider-ranging technological resources has ensured the continuity of cultural collaborations and cooperation, as well as economic value to the communities through employment and business opportunities for BIMP-EAGA.

 

Themed “Jauh Di Mata, Dekat Di Hati”, the festival was held in conjunction with Brunei December Festival. Also screened were videos from the 1st and 2nd Budayaw Festival of Culture and Arts. This year’s festival is hosted by Brunei Darussalam.
