The WeCare Association is committed to continue its humanitarian assistance missions. On the 15th of October this year, a delegation from the association left for Turkey to carry out a mission of distributing staple food and warm clothes to Syrian refugees living in Turkey for their use during winter.
A second delegation leaving for Turkey under the WeCare’s Syrian Warm Winter project aims to raise funds from the public to buy staple food items such as rice, sugar, cooking oil as well as warm clothes to alleviate their burden. The 4-member delegation, comprising Awang Mohammad Ehwan bin Haji Mohd Zainal, Dayang Nadiahtul ‘Afifah binti Haji Mohd Yasin, Dayang Siti Nurwaznah Bujang binti Ghazali and Dayangku Maizatul Aiman binti Pengiran Haji Ismail, shared that language barrier was one of the challenges they faced while in Turkey.
Meanwhile, the Palu Project’s humanitarian assistance team, comprises Awang Mohd Izzudden bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Awang Mohamad Dhiyaulhaziq bin Haji Nordin, and two female volunteers, Hajah Noor Monasalieana @Suzie binti Haji Mohd Salleh and Pengiran Nur Afni Ryini binti Pengiran Haji Hamdani.
The WeCare association is a non-government organisation established in 2016 with the aim of providing assistance and donations in humanitarian-related issues both locally and abroad. It aims to provide benefit and look after the well-being of local and international communities.
