Sixty-three pints of blood were collected during the Blood Donation Campaign in conjunction with the 28th Teachers Day Celebration. Yesterday morning's campaign was organized by the Co-curriculum Education Department through the uniformed and community services unit in collaboration with the Blood Donation Centre, Clinical Laboratory Services, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital.

The campaign is hoped to encourage the public to donate blood to assist those requiring it aside from boosting the blood reserves at the Blood Donation Centre. Last year, Brunei Darussalam recorded 16 thousand 104 pints collected with 2 thousand 973 of them from newly registered donors.
