Transplant medicine is one of the laurels of modern medical science, its progressed leaps and bounds and has great promise for the future. According to the Minister of Health, State of the art infrastructure, guidelines tools, and skills in this area will reap rich returns not only for the centres’ but also for the nations. This was stated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Hj Md Isham Bin Hj Jaafar, in his capacity as Chairman and Executive Director of Jerudong Park Medical Centre, JPMC at the Signing of Memorandum of Understanding between JPMC and Yashoda Healthcare Services Private Limited Hospitals, India on providing liver and kidney transplant services.
Signing on behalf of JPMC was Awang Hj Maswadi bin Hj Mohsin, as JPMC Board member while Yashoda Healthcare Services Private Limited was represented by its Executive Vice President, Doctor Chandraskar Ramamoorthy. The MoU aimed to create partnership in the establishment and management of specialist services in the country, and it is one of the important milestone in high technology medical healthcare.
