His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, last night left Denpasar, Bali, the Republic of Indonesia after attending the ASEAN Leaders' gathering.

Prior to departure from the hotel, Doa Selamat was recited by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr.) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti.

Present at the Ngurah Rai International Airport to bid farewell to His Majesty were His Excellency Retired General TNI Dr. H. Wiranto S.H., Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs; and His Excellency Dr. Sujatmiko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam. Also present to bid farewell to His Majesty were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy; and His Excellency Retired Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Haji Yussof bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Republic of Indonesia.
