Also in the Belait District, the Royal Brunei Police Force with the cooperation of the Land Transport Department, LTD conducted a surprise inspection at a parking area of a business premise in Kuala Belait last night.
The surprise inspection was conducted based on information received regarding a number of cars which are believed to be modified and displayed at the parking area. The inspection revealed that out of the over one hundred cars, some cars have been modified and were against the country's Road Traffic Act. Several vehicle owners were issued with compounds for several road traffic offences, and were ordered to do vehicle re-inspections at the Land Transport Department.
